Fall League and Tryouts

TRYOUTS- Please check back for an announcement for another tryout, ths one at The Oaks at Saboba. If you missed tryouts please e-mail direct and we will try to get you on a team.

Date: 8/24/2008

Time: 9am

Location: Red Hill Park

There is a $5.00 tryout fee. Bring a glove, bats will be supplied but feel free to bring your own. If you are a catcher and have your own gear please bring it. The draft will take place immidiately following the tryout. Come ready to have a good time.

This is the best way to be placed on a team. If you missed a tryout watch for the next one and or send your info, name, positions, experience and the city where you live.

2008 Fall League Information

ball bullet New, just announced a wood bat division. If you have a team that wants to play in a "Open" wood bat division please let us know. Special deals on Phoenix Bats. Same league info as for all other divisions.

Manager's Meeting: Wednesday August 27 at Hooters in Ontario on Milliken at 7:30pm Please turn in deposits to hold a spot on the schedule or make arrangements.

All New Teams need to have the Manager or Team Administrator fill out the REGISTER TO PLAY.  Let us know by e-mail when you have completed this task so we can list your team and you can enter your players.  Players must accept the e-mail which is automatically generated otherwise your roster will be incomplete.  You will need an e-mail for all players, you can use yours temporarily if you must. All Rertunring Teams need to let us know they are playing and we will create your team for the 2008 Season. You do not need to REGISTER TO PLAY but you will have to invite your players again.

Deposits are being accepted now with final payment being required by August 31. League fees are accepted in the forms of;  Cash, Visa, MC, American Express,  Cashier Check or one personal check only from the manager.  If you prefer to use your credit card there will now be a Convenience Fee of 2.5% of the transaction amount. Personal checks from players are not accepted.  Payments can be made online, at the manager's meeting, at tryouts or by mail. Pro Sports is no longer an option, the store is now closed. All checks/money orders and cashier checks are to be made payable to the NABA.

Opening Day is projected to be Sunday September 7th.

Games are played on Sunday's only

We will work around your Sunday work schedule as best we can.

NEW FIELDS; We are adding new fields all the time. In part thanks to players efforts wanting to have a home field.

Each team will play an 8-10 game season with playoffs and championship.

Playoffs  begin toward the end of November.

Championship Games - Late November early December.

Team League Fee is $895.00 with a roster up to 15 players and the manager.

With an average of 13 players, each player plays for $8.00 per game plus the umpire fee of about $5.00 per game.  Altogether each player plays around $13.00 per game.

Form of payment - One check from the manager, Cashier Check, Money Order, Cash, Visa or MasterCard

To join a team it is best to go to tryouts.

Individuals, Managers & Teams are welcome. Bring your team into the league, Start your own team or join a team through tryouts. Only individuals need to go through the tryout process.
