The Southern California Adult Baseball League, Established in 1993 is part of the
growing and one of the most popular amateur programs in the World, the National Adult Baseball Association (NABA). With more then 100 teams annually the NABA So Cal League is your Premier Baseball League in Southern California. Offering various levels of play both locally and in tournaments all around the Country.
Covering an area from Pasadena East to San Bernardino and down through San Jacinto/Palm Springs and Temecula. We hold 3 seasons per year; Spring/Summer, Fall and Twilight Leagues. Locally we are organized into groups categorized by age and ability levels of play, Recreational, Intermediate, Advanced:

  • Wood Bat- All Levels of play
  • 18 & Over- Rookie, A, AA, AAA
    28 & Over (seasonal)
    35 & Over (seasonal)

This divisional structure provides a level playing field for each player - regardless of experience and ability level. The NABA seeks to foster a competitive environment that is challenging for all players.

Nationally we offer tournaments around the country in all age levels listed below. These tournaments are open to everyone either already on a team or you can join through the player-pool on the national website.

  • Wood Bat- 18+, 25+, 35+, 45+
  • 18 & Over- Rookie, A, AA, AAA
  • 25 & Over
  • 35 & Over
  • 45& Over
  • 55& Over

Games are played on Sunday's only with the exception of our twilight league which plays weeknights but is dependent on field availability from season to season. Game times on Sunday's are 9am, 12:15pm & 3:30pm during the Summer League. During daylight savings we will start games an hour earlier. Twilight league games begin around 5:30pm.

Playing in the NABA each player pays: umpire fees and league fees combined for about $12.00 per game. This includes; liability insurance, baseballs, fields, schedules and all-star games along with much more for each team...

We offer tournaments in: San Gabriel Valley, West Palm Beach, Tucson, Las Vegas, Atlantic City, Denver, Sacramento, and our World Series in Phoenix. Tournaments you don't want to miss. View the Tournament List at

The levels of play are described as:

  • Wood Bat- For all levels of play. Players must use a wood bat or wood bat composite.
  • AAA- Advanced level (AAA) is typically for players that have 3-4 years of college and/or professional experience.
  • AA- Intermediate level (AA) is generally for the players with high school or some college experience.
  • A- the recreational level (A) is another level in the Intermediate level.
  • Rookie- Provides an opportunity for players whose love of the game perhaps exceeds their level of experience.

    Spring/Summer League begins organizing in January and runs March till the end of August.
    Twilight begins organizing in May and runs June till August (when available)
    The Fall League begins organizing in August and runs from September till December.

    Watch for the next season to begin and either; Bring a Team into the league, Start Your Own Team or go through tryouts and get drafted. Anyway you want to be involved you will have a great time.

Mandatory Umpire Meeting for all umpires who will be umpiring full time or part time. All umpires are required to wear NABA caps and ball bags. No other cap or ball bag will be permitted
